I cannot contain my enthusiasm to be working with you and your child this year to help them grow as a reader.

McDowell Elementary holds a special place in my heart, because I completed my field experience and student teaching here. In December 2015, I graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. The following summer, I enrolled in my Masters of Education in Reading at Bowling Green State University and obtained my K-12 Reading Endorsement.

Teaching children reading and writing has always been my passion. I hope this year brings many pages of memories to add to your book!
